Editorial standards
TradeKavach is an independent editorial site about one thing: what Indian readers actually need to know before they use IQ Option. We are not IQ Option, we are not affiliated with the Reserve Bank of India, SEBI or any regulator, and we do not take instructions from the platforms we write about.
Who writes this
The site is edited by Devika Nambiar, Markets and Compliance Editor. Every guide on TradeKavach is written or reviewed to the same brief: answer the question the reader typed, say plainly what is verified and what is not, and never let a commercial link decide the wording.
How we work
- Regulatory facts come from regulators. Where we describe licensing or the position in India, we cite the primary source — the RBI Alert List and RBI's Master Direction on the Liberalised Remittance Scheme, the CySEC public register, SEBI's own register and cautions, ESMA's published decisions — and we link them so you can check us.
- Platform figures are treated as volatile. Minimum deposits, minimum trade sizes, demo balances, fees and processing windows change without notice and often differ by country. Where we could not confirm a number on an official page, we say so and give a range or send you to the operator's own cashier instead of inventing a figure.
- We do not claim tests we did not run. You will not find "we deposited and withdrew" screenshots here, because we did not. What you will find is a checklist of what to look at, and an honest account of what is and is not documented.
- We correct things. If a figure moves or we get something wrong, the page is updated and the change is real, not cosmetic.
What we do not do
We do not give financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to trade. Trading leveraged and short-dated products loses money for most retail clients. On the Indian legal position we describe the facts — including that IQ Option appears on the RBI's Alert List of entities not authorised to deal in forex under FEMA or to operate a forex electronic trading platform — and we leave the decision, and the responsibility, with you. For anything involving tax, talk to a chartered accountant.
How the site pays for itself
Some links to the platforms we cover are partner links, and we may earn a commission if you open an account through one. It costs you nothing extra and it does not change what a page says. The full explanation is on our partner disclosure page.
